Timeline

During this time, comprehensive consultations and assessments are conducted to create a tailored contract that meets the needs of each family. This intake process is designed to ensure that all parties are in agreement and that the tailored plan effectively addresses the unique circumstances of the case.

Assessment of the Visitation Site: The supervisor will evaluate the environment where visitations will take place, ensuring it is safe and suitable for the child.
Individual Meetings with Parents: Each parent will be met with separately to discuss their perspectives, ensuring that their concerns and needs are heard and understood.
Meeting the Child: The supervisor will meet with the child to build rapport and create a sense of ease, facilitating a smoother transition for future visits. This connection helps the child feel more secure and supported throughout the visitation process.
Addressing Questions: Parents can discuss any outstanding questions they may have regarding the visitation process or specific needs of the child.
Reviewing the Contract: The supervisor will go over the contract created during the intake process to ensure that everyone is aligned and aware of the guidelines.
